About

Life's a Journey, Here's Mine

Jazzy T started on her mission of inspiration in 2000 as an intern at Power 96.5 WQHH in Lansing, Mich. Before semester’s end, she was promoted to on-air host on Saturday nights. She continued to dominate the airwaves throughout her college career while co-hosting Detroit’s #1 cable TV show “Video Vibe”. Jazzy T also became an assistant for ESPN College Game Day producers.

In 2003 she spent a semester in Washington DC as a Creative intern at BET corporate offices, where she worked closely with Jackie Reid and Debra Lee.

In 2005, upon graduating with honors from Michigan State University, Jazzy T relocated to Los Angeles and quickly landed employment as production coordinator at one of Hollywood’s largest post-production houses, Craig Murray Productions.

While in LA, Jazzy T became a co-host on the KJLH Saturday Night Mix show and a red carpet interviewer at the BET Awards and ASCAP awards. She also found work behind the scenes of hit shows such as ER and How I Met Your Mother, Without a Trace, and Boston Legal.

In 2007 she went back to radio full time as the midday host/imaging manager for WQHH back in Lansing. Word of Jazzy T’s return to Michigan caught the attention of Clear Channel Detroit’s urban program director KJ Holiday. She then served on FM 98 WJLB and Mix 92.3 WMXD, as on-air talent for both stations until February 2012.

While in Michigan, Jazzy T founded JR Galactic LLC, an IMDB credited casting and Production Company, serving cable and network television, feature films and online distributors.

In 2012 she joined Buffalo’s 93.7 WBLK as host the Afternoons, with segments such as The Queen City Spotlight, Buff City’s Big 4 at 4 Countdown, the Jazzy Drive at 5 mix show with DJ Heat and exclusive celebrity interviews.

Off the air, Jazzy is a wife, mother, SAG casting director and spokeswoman for Hustle for Health wellness programs. Her creative skills as an editor, producer and voice over talent, coupled with her work experiences at BET, WB, ESPN, Clear Channel and Town Square Media make her an asset to any media outlet.
